PhD candidate, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology

About

Ezra Ben-Abu is a direct PhD Azrieli Fellow student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Amir Gat.

His research focuses on leveraging viscous flow and multistable structures in applications such as energy harvesting and storage, refrigeration cycles, heat pumps, search and rescue operations, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. In addition, he design and fabricate multistable structures in multi-scales, by utilizing pre-stress and buckling patterns of materials.
